Fleet Primary School – Residential Activity Week
BluesSpark provided funding for underprivileged children from Fleet Primary School, Camden to take part in a residential week away in South Wales where the children undertook a programme of adventurous activities including day-long hikes in all weathers. The trip helped the children to gain confidence and self-esteem and to become more independent and resilient. Many children described the trip as being the “high point” of their time at Fleet. Following the trip, the children spent time creating writing, poetry and art in order to put on an exhibition at the school which was “a wonderful tangible outcome of the trip for everyone to enjoy.”
