BlueSpark Supports Project To “Bring The West End To Derbyshire Children”
BlueSpark supported a project to “Bring the West End to Derbyshire Children” by providing funds for 250 disadvantaged children from seven schools in Derbyshire from the Embark Federation to work with West End stars over a 12 month period. This culminated in a visit to London for a selected group to take part in a workshop, watch the matinee performance, meet the cast backstage and perform a song on the West End stage. Some of the children had never been to Derby never mind to London to a West End show. This really was the trip of a lifetime for them and helped to raise their self-esteem and aspirations and to gain confidence.
