Blue Spark Foundation

BlueSpark provided the funding to purchase Lasal floats for the swimming pool at Treloar School and College, Alton. These floats are specialist swimming floats for use by physically disabled students. They allow students to swim and float independently and to work in a variety of positions, maximising mobility and stability while increasing comfort. Using the floats helps the students to be less reliant on staff and for that reason to feel more confident in the water and more confident and independent in general. More students at the school now have the confidence to participate in swimming events and galas which also gives them the opportunity to socialise with students from other schools across the country.
