Blue Spark Foundation

Alfriston School is the lead inclusion school in Bucks. The school’s aim is to offer and lead on a range of inclusive festivals and competitions throughout the academic year for all schools across Bucks including specialised activities such as adapted cycling. They also wanted to provide a means of celebrating success for individual students through providing high quality, up to date certificates, medals and shields.

A BlueSpark grant funded the hire of the Stoke Mandeville Stadium for SEND Athletics in June 2018, the hire of Wycombe track for adapted cycling and venue hire for Boccia and football competitions. In addition, the costs of new winners’ shields and certificates for participants were also covered
